SPECIAL TOP WINE
Our comage to the first planting of Silvaner in Castell anno 1659. 

SENSORIC 
The nose is dominated by cedar and caramel spicy notes. Rounded by hints of baked pear. The consistent and harmonious balance on the palate, as well as the already well-integrated acidity, ensure an impressive longevity. 

VINIFICATION 
Fully ripe Silvaner grapes from our monopollages are the basis for our homage to the first Silvaner planting in 1659. Partially fermented on the skins and aged for two years in Castell oak barrels, APRILES shows that Silvaner can also develop its great potential in an international setting. 

ORIGIN 
Franconia, monopollage Casteller Hohnart. 

 ENJOY TO 
A complex Silvaner that prefers a dish that can stand up to it. The APRILES likes roasted aromas, earthy as well as fruity components and a sauce that is as bursting with power and length as it is. At the same time it should have elegance and filigree. Pink roasted veal shank and baked calf's head, veal jus, remoulade sauce, parsley root mash and roasted lettuce hearts.
